By using GlowPrice you agree to the following. These terms are the licence agreement (EULA) for the GlowPrice app. If you downloaded it from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What this service is
GlowPrice shows prices of beauty products collected from online shops and their affiliate programmes. We don't sell anything: you always buy on the shop's website, and the contract is between that shop and you.
About prices
Prices are updated regularly and may not match the shop's price at the moment you open it. Each offer shows when it was checked. The price that counts is always the one on the shop's website when you pay.
When we don't know the delivery cost we say so, and in that case the total shown doesn't include delivery. When we don't know whether a product is in stock, it shows as "not confirmed".
We take care to keep the data accurate, but we don't guarantee that it is free of errors and we are not responsible for purchasing decisions based on it alone.
About ingredients and allergens
When we know a product's ingredient list (INCI) we show it, and we flag the ingredients that the EU Cosmetics Regulation, Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, classifies as prohibited, restricted, allergens that must be declared, or nanomaterials. That classification comes from the annexes of the Regulation; what it means for you does not. In Great Britain the UK Cosmetics Regulation applies, which may differ for some substances.
Ingredient lists do NOT come from an official source or from the manufacturer. They come from open or commercial databases (Open Beauty Facts, INCI API, INCI Beauty) or from the list published by the shops, and may contain errors, be incomplete or belong to an older version of the product. We always show the source and the date we read it.
In addition, a brand can reformulate a product without changing its barcode, so a list that was correct on the day it was read can stop being correct without any sign.
That is why the packaging in your hand is the only reliable information. What we show is guidance to compare and discover, not a safety data sheet. It is not medical, health or pharmaceutical advice; it cannot be used to diagnose or treat anything and does not replace advice from a professional.
If you have an allergy or an intolerance, are pregnant or are following a treatment, always read the product label and ask a healthcare professional. Don't rely on GlowPrice alone to decide whether a cosmetic is safe for you.
If we don't flag an allergen, that doesn't mean the product doesn't contain it: we can only check products whose ingredients we know, and Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 extended the list of substances that must be declared, with deadlines running until 31 July 2028, so current packaging may contain one that doesn't yet have to be declared separately.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of this information. Nothing above limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Acceptable use
- Bulk, automated extraction of the app's content is not allowed.
- You may not use the service for unlawful purposes or try to compromise its security.
Affiliate links
Some links earn GlowPrice a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. The ranking is ordered by price and is not affected.
As an Amazon Associate, GlowPrice earns from qualifying purchases. The "Search on Amazon" button opens a search on the Amazon website of the country you have chosen and does not show Amazon's price.
Third-party trademarks
Product names, logos and images belong to their owners and are used only to identify each shop's offer.
GlowPrice Pro (subscription)
GlowPrice Pro is an annual, auto-renewing subscription bought inside the app. The price is shown on the purchase screen before you pay, in the currency of your app store.
Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) from your store account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period for the same amount unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time from the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account, or from "Manage or cancel subscription" in the app. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds are handled by the app store under its own terms. If you change phone or reinstall the app, use "Restore purchases" on the Pro screen.
Accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You can delete your account at any time (how).
Changes
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
